RACE COURSE
Both races begin and end at Johnson Elementary. The 1 mile and 5K courses are out and back loops through neighborhoods bordering Johnson Elementary. East Highland will be closed to traffic during both races.
The 5K course will have a water stop at the halfway point. Strollers are permitted. For the safety of all participants, pets, inline skates, bikes and scooters are not permitted.
PARKING
Parking is permitted in the Cedar Ridge business complex located on the corner of Hwy 114 and N. Carroll.
From 114, Exit N. Carroll and the lot is on the west side across from the previous Carroll Intermediate School
TIMING
RunTime Race Management will provide all timing chips. Timing chips are picked up on Saturday, October 22nd before the race and returned immediately after the race.
A $25 fee for all chips not returned.
AWARDS
Timed 5K Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners.
All 5K winners older than 5th grade will receive their medals/trophies immediately after the 5K.
All elementary school age children participating in the 1 mile and 5K events will receive a recognition award.
Awards will also be presented to the 5K finishers in the following categories:
- All Around Male
- All Around Female
- Masters Male (1st place 40+)
- Masters Female (1st place 40+)
- 5K male and female winners in each age group:
- under 5
- age 5
- age 6
- age 7
- age 8
- age 9
- age 10
- 11-12
- 13-14
- 15-16
- 17-19
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 54-59
